Delete a workspace and its data
Prepare an irreversible deletion, stop renewal and handle an unclear result.
Choose the right action
‘Delete my account’ in Settings deletes the workspace and associated data for its team. It is not simply signing out or disabling one member.
To stop paying while keeping access for the paid period, cancel renewal instead. To remove one colleague's access, manage their status in Team.
Before deleting
This action is irreversible and requires administrator access. Save the documents and invoices you need first.
If a paid subscription exists, cancel its renewal under Subscription and billing first and verify confirmation. Do not rely on deleting the workspace to stop Mollie charges.
Deletion is not a refund request. If billing is unclear, have it checked before proceeding.
Request deletion
Deletion involves several services. Wait for the result and avoid closing the page immediately.
Open Settings and scroll to the danger zone.
Choose ‘Delete my account’.
Read the warning and check that you are in the correct workspace.
Choose ‘Delete permanently’ only if you intend to delete that workspace.
On success, you return to sign-in.
Error shown or access gone
An error can appear after the workspace has already been deleted while some cleanup remains. Conversely, an external check can block deletion before the workspace disappears.
Refresh once to check the state. Do not repeatedly click delete if the workspace is no longer accessible or you see ‘Forbidden’ or ‘Unauthorized’. Give support the workspace name, time and displayed message to confirm the outcome.
The workspace disappearing does not by itself prove that all copies, backups or data held by providers were erased immediately. Ask support to clarify the scope if you have a specific request.
