Connect WhatsApp using a QR code
Pair the phone and understand connection states.
Before you start
Use an administrator account and keep the number's phone nearby. Your plan must have a free channel slot. Linking works like WhatsApp Web; connecting itself sends no message.
Pair the phone
In Integrations, select Connect or Connect a number on the WhatsApp card. Give the line a recognizable name.
Select Show the QR code. On the phone, open WhatsApp, Settings, Linked devices, then Link a device.
Scan the code and wait for line creation to finish. Select Done when Number connected appears.
Expired QR or Reconnect
If the QR expires, select Start again and scan the new code. If the card stays at Reconnect, check the phone's Linked devices session and restart pairing. Check the existing line before creating several for the same number.
Verify the first exchange
Send a simple question from another test number. Check the correct line in Conversations and who controls the thread. If a person stopped Sira, Give back to Sira lets her answer the next customer message. A connected number alone does not prove message delivery.
