Use the school office and teacher workspace

Classes, students, lessons, attendance, grades and fees with the right permissions.

01

Prepare the school year

The School office requires the School administration and reports module. Management or office staff configure the year, periods, classes and subjects according to their permissions. Grading and fee rules follow the institution’s configuration.

  1. In School settings, create the year and required periods.

  2. Create classes and assign subjects and teachers.

  3. Check the grading scale and capacity before enrolment.

02

Separate student, guardian and enrolment

Create the student, then the guardian and their link. Guardian permissions are set for that relationship: do not assume every contact can view all results.

Then enrol the student in the class, with a payer if needed. A student record without enrolment does not automatically populate attendance.

03

Schedule a lesson and confirm attendance

Schedule a lesson so it appears in the daily view. In Attendance, choose its date and lesson, mark each student and confirm attendance. Inactive enrolments are read-only.

Teachers are limited to assigned classes and subjects and to today’s lessons for attendance. Managers can correct past days. If a class is missing, check the assignment.

04

Enter grades and view report cards

Choose class, subject, term and student to enter a grade. A correction retains the original in history and uses the corrected value in calculations.

Teachers enter grades only for their assigned subjects. Full report cards and PDF exports are reserved for school office staff and management.

05

Configure applicable fees

In Fees & supplies, managers create the schedules that actually apply and lists from the catalogue. A public school is not automatically fee-free, and a private school does not automatically create fees.

The teacher workspace does not grant access to the office’s administrative and financial functions.
